Day-wise itinerary

  1. Day 1: Guwahati → Kaziranga (≈195 km)

    Pickup and drive along NH-27/NH-715 to Kaziranga. Evening visit to the Kaziranga Orchid & Biodiversity Park.

  2. Day 2: Kaziranga Jeep Safari

    Early morning jeep safari in the Central (Kohora) or Western (Bagori) range — best chance to spot rhinos, wild elephants, swamp deer and birds. Optional elephant safari (subject to availability). Afternoon tea-garden walk.

  3. Day 3: Kaziranga → Shillong (≈250 km)

    Drive to Shillong via Jorabat with a halt at Umiam Lake. Evening at Police Bazaar.

  4. Day 4: Shillong sightseeing

    Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake and Lady Hydari Park.

  5. Day 5: Shillong → Cherrapunji → Shillong

    Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Eco Park. Return to Shillong or stay in Cherrapunji.

  6. Day 6: Mawlynnong & Dawki

    Asia’s cleanest village, the Riwai root bridge and a boat ride on the Umngot river at Dawki.

  7. Day 7: Shillong → Guwahati drop

    Return drive to Guwahati airport, railway station or hotel.
