How do I book a taxi in Guwahati with Pure Planet Travels?

Call +91 70857 71312 or +91 70056 02434, or send your pickup, drop, date and number of travellers on WhatsApp. We share vehicle options and the fare within minutes; a small advance confirms the booking and you receive driver details before pickup.

Which car is best for a Guwahati to Shillong or Meghalaya trip?

For families of 5–7 the Toyota Innova Crysta is the most comfortable on Meghalaya’s hill roads. Couples and small families usually choose a Swift Dzire or Etios sedan, while the Ertiga is the best-value 6 seater. Groups of 10 or more should book a Force Urbania or Tempo Traveller.

Do you provide Guwahati airport pickup and drop?

Yes. We provide 24/7 pickup and drop at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI), Guwahati, including direct airport-to-Shillong, Kaziranga and Tawang transfers. Share your flight number and our driver will be waiting at the arrival gate.

Are toll, parking, fuel and driver charges included in the fare?

Our outstation quotes are all-inclusive of fuel, tolls, parking, state permits and driver allowance unless clearly mentioned otherwise. Entry tickets, safari charges and permit fees for Arunachal are paid separately.

Do you have Tempo Traveller and Urbania for group tours?

Yes — Force Urbania in 10, 13 and 17 seater and Tempo Traveller in 13, 17, 20 and 26 seater options are available for weddings, school trips, corporate travel and group tours from Guwahati.

Can I book a one-way taxi from Guwahati?

Yes. One-way drops are available to Shillong, Kaziranga, Tezpur, Tawang, Siliguri and other cities. One-way fares may include a return charge for the vehicle, which we explain upfront.

Booking & Payment

How do I book a taxi?

Call +91 70857 71312 / +91 70056 02434 or send your trip details on WhatsApp. We confirm availability and fare, and you pay a small advance to lock the booking.

How much advance do I need to pay?

A small advance confirms your booking; the balance is usually paid to us or the driver during or at the end of the trip. Exact terms are shared in your quote.

Which payment methods do you accept?

UPI, bank transfer and cash. Ask us if you need a GST invoice for business travel.

Can I book a taxi for the same day?

Yes, subject to availability. For peak season (October–June) and long weekends we recommend booking a few days in advance.

Fares & Inclusions

Are there hidden charges?

No. Your quote clearly lists what is included — typically fuel, driver allowance, tolls and parking for outstation trips — and what is not.

Is there a night charge?

Night driving or late-night pickups may carry a small night allowance for the driver, which is mentioned in your quote.

Why does a one-way trip cost more per km?

On one-way trips the vehicle has to return empty, so a part of the return cost is included in the fare.

Vehicles & Drivers

Which vehicles are available?

Innova Crysta, Swift Dzire, Ertiga, Toyota Etios, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Maruti Baleno, Force Urbania (10/13/17 seater) and Tempo Traveller (13/17/20/26 seater).

Are all vehicles AC?

Yes. In the hills the AC may be switched off on steep climbs for engine safety; the driver will let you know.

Will the driver speak English or Hindi?

Our drivers speak Hindi and basic English, along with local languages.

Where does the driver stay on multi-day trips?

Driver accommodation and food are arranged by the driver and covered in the driver allowance — you don’t need to arrange anything.

Travel & Permits

Do I need a permit to visit Arunachal Pradesh?

Yes. Indians need an Inner Line Permit (ILP); foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit (PAP). Nagaland also requires an ILP for Indians from outside the state.

When is the best time to visit Meghalaya?

October to May for clear views; the monsoon (June–September) is lush with spectacular waterfalls but very rainy.

When is Kaziranga open?

Usually November to April. Core zones close for the monsoon.

Can you arrange hotels too?

Yes — we can book hotels and homestays in budget, standard and premium categories along your route.
