Day-wise itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive Guwahati – Kamakhya Darshan
Pickup and darshan at Kamakhya Temple. Later visit Umananda Temple (river island, by ferry), Balaji Temple and the Brahmaputra riverfront. Overnight in Guwahati.
- Day 2: Guwahati → Shillong
Drive to Shillong via Umiam Lake. Afternoon at Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Museum and Police Bazaar.
- Day 3: Shillong → Cherrapunji
Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak, then on to Cherrapunji: Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Eco Park. Overnight Cherrapunji.
- Day 4: Cherrapunji – Root Bridge day
Optional Nongriat Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek, or a relaxed day visiting Arwah Cave and Wakaba Falls viewpoint.
- Day 5: Mawlynnong & Dawki
Explore Mawlynnong village and the Riwai living root bridge, then boat on the Umngot river at Dawki. Return to Shillong.
- Day 6: Shillong → Guwahati drop
Drive back to Guwahati for your onward journey.
