Day-wise itinerary
- Day 1: Guwahati → Dirang
Early pickup and long scenic drive via Tezpur and Bhalukpong to Dirang.
- Day 2: Dirang → Tawang via Sela Pass
Sela Lake, Jaswant Garh and Nuranang Falls en route.
- Day 3: Tawang sightseeing
Tawang Monastery, War Memorial, Urgelling Monastery and craft centre.
- Day 4: Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake
Excursion to the India–China border pass (permit & weather dependent).
- Day 5: Tawang → Bomdila
Cross Sela Pass again; evening at Bomdila Monastery.
- Day 6: Bomdila → Kaziranga
Descend to the plains and drive to Kaziranga.
- Day 7: Kaziranga Jeep Safari
Morning safari; afternoon at leisure or Orchid Park.
- Day 8: Kaziranga → Shillong
Drive to Shillong with a stop at Umiam Lake.
- Day 9: Shillong → Cherrapunji
Elephant Falls, then Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Seven Sisters Falls.
- Day 10: Mawlynnong & Dawki
Cleanest village, root bridge and Umngot river boat ride; back to Shillong.
- Day 11: Shillong → Guwahati – Kamakhya
Return to Guwahati, Kamakhya Temple darshan and Brahmaputra riverfront.
- Day 12: Departure
Drop at Guwahati airport or railway station.

Which vehicle is best for this tour?
For 2–4 travellers a sedan (Dzire/Etios) or compact SUV works well on the plains, but we recommend an Innova Crysta or SUV for the Arunachal hill stretch. Families of 5–6 prefer an Ertiga or Innova Crysta, and groups of 10+ can book a Force Urbania or Tempo Traveller.

Do I need a permit for Arunachal Pradesh?
Yes. Indian citizens need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) and foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit (PAP). Bumla Pass requires an additional local permit. We guide you through the process.
